Will it ever be possible?

I love Vcds. But, will it ever be possible to copy an existing DVD with the new DVD burners that are just coming on to the market? By copying. I mean just put one in your drive and hit copy and the dupe will contain all elements from the original? This also would include menus, AC3, etc.

If the dvd-movie is on a single layer dvd(4.7gb) it will be possible with the right app. But if the DVD-movie is on dual layer(9.4gb) it wont fit on a dvd-rw or a dvd+rw disc so you have to lower the bitrate or burn it on two discs or use dual side discs(but it maybe will popup an easy app for that tooo).
