  1. I have a problem with DVD Maestro. I have used it successfully for 2 years now, but ]following a PC crash I re-installed everything from scratch including DVD Maestro. Now I can't get it to work at all, it just hangs on the splash screen.

I tried re-installing again with the same results, and even removed some other software but each time I get the same problem.

The only changes I have made to my system is to add bluetooth software for a USB Bluetoothadapter and a Bluetooth printer module but I cannot see this being the problem.

Has anyone had any similar problems, or can anyone offer any help/suggestions?

Maybe you forgot to put the dongle in.

although it's no longer sold, I am pretty sure that Spruce is still supporting Maestro - if you go to the Spruce website, I think it has contact information for tech support.

wy685mm, where did you get your copy of Maestro. The dongle should have come with it.

spruce (owned by appple) support has totally run out now ... apple doesnt support thier big corp customeers on this anymore - but wants us to buy dvd pro 2 (which is good product) ... offfcially , the story is that maestro has support for ONLY nt4 and nothing else .. (apple stopped making updates also for shake for windows - which is pissing off MANY people let me tell you - so much i know of one company that just dumped mac from their company totally because of it) .. if you buy a company - dont kill it as you have done with RAYZ, Chalice, Spruce , Shake and a few others ..

yea , you have to install the dongle and dongle drivers for it to work ..
