Using VCDEasy 1.1.5.2. and the only negative comments I get on the log page is this:

What does the yellow markers mean? Good or bad?
I went to the web site and it is offline because of patents.
Any ideas. Is there a way around this?
    I only use FREEWARE

They are warnings - the seriousness of which varies. Those in you screen shot should be quietly ignored, if nothing untoward happens at a later stage in the process that might be caused by a malfunctioning libvcd.

I was on the verge of writing "Does the link http://www.hvrlab.org/~hvr/vcdimager ring any bells?" but when I checked, it's moved, and is temporarily closed as a protest agains software patents.
It's a library, originally developed for *nix (but possible to run under Windows using the Cygwin library), that contains useful functions used in the process of creating a (S)VCD image. The author of VCDEasy has decided to trust the unstable branch (in a GPL project, this is most often the most advanced version, even if it may contain more bugs) of libvcd to be used by VCDEasy.
If you're more familiar with Windows, a libsomething in *nix, can be compared to something.dll in Windows.

libvcd is an internal part of vcdimager. The 0.7.x branch of vcdimager is the "unstable" release, which really just means it's the version they're actively developing right now which will eventually become a new "stable" release. If you want access to the full set of VCD capabilities (like PBC and so forth) you must use the 0.7 branch - the last "stable" release doesn't support that.

A number of free software projects have "protest" pages up about the European software patent stuff. I think it's a little silly, but you just have to click the link to get past it.
