  1. i have a divx file thats only 20 minutes so i wanted to convert it to mpeg but the problem is when i did that the file was over 800 megs this kinda puzzled me , so i figured since the audio that was making it soooo large , so i wanted to know what programs could i use to downsample the audio or does ne one have ne other solutions

    Did you use tmpgenc to convert it? if so did you use any template such as vcd,svcd or dvd?

    Then you will end with a 200MB mpeg, definitely.
    Load the video source first and after that the template.
