    I am trying to convert from .VOB to Divx using the .VOB's IFO but whenever I start converting it only converts about 15 minutes of my video (which is a normal length movie). Also, I find DVDx to be very buggy because it always "encounters a problem and has to shut down". How can I fix these problems or where can I find a program that converts .VOB (and IFO) to DIVX?

    Try the Virtual Dub mod. It accepts vobs. Hope this helps.

    I've tried using that but if I convert the VOBs using Divx audio, the audio is always out of sync so I can't compress it and my Divx file is huge
