i have a dave gilmour concert dvd which has a 24bit 48k lpcm track which i desperately want to downconvert to redbook standard
DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO ACCURATELY EXTRACT 24BIT 48K AUDIO FROM A DVD
ive tried smart ripper and dvd2avi in many ways but i try playing the extracted file in windows and all i get is harsh static although i can faintly hear the audio, this isnt a codec problem on my computer, it appears smartripper and many others automatically write 16bits in the hex header info, i tried manually changing it but it didnt work
i have heard some people have had luck with vstrip, but i dont have a clue hopw to use it and there is no info on how i would extract that level of audio using vstrip
any ideas ? regards keegan
