Hi
Bit of a newbie here. If you have a dvd writer that is not region free
and you dont want to play back dvd on your pc .( so you dont install playing software) And you make a backup with the likes of dvdxcopy
then burn back to dvd+r etc will you be still be buged with region free crap???

No, probably not.
I say probably because my experience of utilities that check for region coding is they sometimes "miss" a reference in one of the IFO files (they seem to check the first one and not any subsequent ones).
I have just answered a similar question elsewhere on the boards with IFOedit - do a search for that and my name and you should be fine.
