I have a 2x DVD+RW drive from Dell and I have a DVD+R disc that says it its 4x and 2.5x compatible. I would like to know if I canuse that disc to burn with my burner. Thanks in advance.

Don't see why not. DVD +R media burns at 2.5X, while DVD-R burns at 2x. The 4x media will burn at the slower speed.
