I've a several MPEGS, from which I want to make VCD. All have the same format of NTSC(film). I need to dissolve the end of one mpeg to the starting of another mpeg along with sound (like fade in and fade out).
Kindly name any GUI software or technique to do this. I've tried AVISynth, but it did'nt work. Thanx

I would use Video Studio.
1. Launch Video Studio and select Storyboard.
2. Bring all the videos into the program using the little white folder in the upper right hand corner.
3. Drag and drop each video where you want them to appear in your final cut.
4. Select Effect.
5. Decide which transition effect you want to use in your video. I use the singular form because everything I read says keep them as simple as you can. Avoid the temptation to overuse them. They become a distraction rather than an enhancement quite quckly.
6. Drag the transition and drop it into each box between your clips where you want a transition to take place.
7. Click once in the Duration window and input how long you want you transition to last. Three seconds is a good length for me.
Save by going to Finish (version 6.x) or Share (7.x).
Hope this helps.Hello.
