    i need help extracting an audio track from an mpg music video. which program do i use for this? thx!

    Virtualdub will extract audio files as wave files. There are guides posted on this site.

    Ulead Videostudio or Pinnacle Studio can.For free try DVDX>load mpg>move slider to desired start point and encode,then use TMPGEnc to convert audio to wav or mp3.
