hey i was wondering if it was possible to make avi.mpeg or svcd files and burn them to dvd and have dvd quality picture if so can you tell me how please thanks

Sure. That's what this website is all about. Go to the 'how to' guides and read a little. You need dvd quality mpeg or avi source files to get dvd quality results.
