  1. Just about to format my hard drive so I can have a clean slate again. Quick question; does MSN Messenger (6.0) keep your contact list on your computer or on a server?

Like if I didn't back up my contact list and formatted would it simply retrieve the list from a central computer when I logged back in? I have a feeling it does but just wanted some reassurance.

    Cheers

I think it does. I know that AOL does, and I belive that MSN does as well. But you may wanna stick it on a floppy just in case.

How else would they spy on you?
Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they?

Well, when the OS itself is supplying them with info, the small information they get from Instant Messaging just isn't that important.

  8. They're those square little pieces of plastic that can only hold a few word documents at best, not even a single mp3!
