    i' ve got a movie which is (CTP) divx format, but the i'm not able to play it, cause the image freezes after a few seconds.
    I've already scanned for bad frames in vertual dub but it didn't find any!
    I've got a divx g400 codec!

    Give us some more details and we may be able to help (i.e. file name, size, media player used etc).

    if he gave the file name,this thread will be locked

    uninstall divx g400 codec and any codec packs.
    install divx 5.05.then try ffdshow.
