Not possible as far as I know. The best thing would be to convert your audio to a WAV audio file (if it isn't already a WAV) and edit out the part you want.

Not enough detail here. What are you trying to do?
I've never tried to extract MENU designs myself but I know it is possible but if you are trying to do any type of converion such as PAL to NTSC or vice versa then forget it. It is not even remotely worth the effert.

In almost all cases the reasons why you don't get an answer (these are generic, not necessarily directed at you) are the following:

1. Your question isn't clear or you didn't provide enough detail on what you want to do (e.g., "I can't get my VCD to work. Help!")
2. Your post is hard to read BECAUSE YOU TYPED IT IN ALL CAPS or you used irritating abbreviations/spelling
3. You were rude and/or demanding in your request
4. You haven't waited long enough

Number "1" is the biggie. If I can't get a good handle what you are actually trying to do after a quick read of your post, I will ignore it. I assume most other people do the same.

Always use pictures. They help with errors, i.e.:

If your question was "Why doesn't TMPGEnc support my sound file?", then we couldn't answer you. But if you included a picture like so:



Then we would tell you TMPGEnc doesn't support AC3 audio.

Yes you can extract audio by chapter in DVD Decryptor, and probably any other ripper that supports stream processing as well. In DVD Decryptor set it to IFO mode and uncheck all but the chapters you want. Then go to stream processing and enable stream processing. Uncheck all but the audio stream you want, right click on it and hit, "set selected-demux." Then rip as normal and it will spit out the AC3 tracks for just the selected chapters.

As for your second question, I have no idea what you are asking.

The best program to use for demuxing and extracting anything out of the DVD structure by chapter or whatever, is - it think - SmartRipper. I agree that DVDDecrypter can do it also, since people say so, but I think it is a bit too complicated or restrictred compared to SmartRipper. (But always use DVDDecrypter to rip the DVD).

As for the second question, you really are unclear.

If however what you are asking is:

I want to demux video and audio streams from a DVD, re-compress some of them to make them shorter (so that they fit on a DVD5) and then find a way to put everything back together so that the original structure (menus etc) remains intact.

Then, your best bet is to use DVDShrink. Version 3 beta 5 has solved all the original version's limitations and bad picture quality when compression was high.

And, be patient.

Also remember that no one, at least so far as I know, has a crystal ball here. While your first question was clear enough, and simple to do, your second question makes no sense. There are detailed guides on keeping menu structure for recompressed DVD's, have you read them?

Read the FAQ, read the guides, and do a forum search. I personally rarely answer questions from individuals when it is obvious that these have not been done.
