European capture

I have a pinnacle BOB, and I'm trying to capture a video from an European camera. I use the DV studio 7 from pinnacle. At the preview window, everything plays fine, the colors are great, but when I try to capture, I get a capture error sign. Does it have something to do with the diferent system? The cables are diferent, it's 1 for video ( yellow ) and 1 for audio ( black ). Can somebody help me???

Are you sure any of Pinnacle products support PAL in the first place?
I am not sure ab. it because all the manuals I looked in for Pinnacle products had only NTSC as its supported standart.

I am almost 100% sure that they support PAL format. They sell their products in Europe too and all of them are PAL.

Is your camcorder DV ? If yes, use FireWire port to copy data to PC.
