Hello,
My Miro DC30+ card used to capture ok, but now, it's acting up.
Error message in Premiere 5.1c is that the data rate is too high/disk too full.
In Virtual Dub, Error 427 Cannot add video buffers, Error 431, cannot write to capture file, or disk full.
In Vidcap, it'll complain about the same thing, and will ask me to check vertical sync.
I've run the Miro Hardware test. It passes everything. (Vsync etc)
The disk is not full, as it's a new 120gb hard disk I just got.
Even if I push the compression all the way to 33:1, the error still remains the same. (I did this to try and solve the data rate issue)
I'm using IRQ 11, not shared, no conflicts. I'm running windows 98SE on a celeron 566. I have System HDD (Pri Master), DVDRW (Pri Slave), Capture disk (Sec Master). I've uninstalled the DC30+, re-installed it etc according to all the manuals and tips in Adobe and Pinnacle.
I don't know what else to investigate. Can anyone help me? Should I be looking at something else? I really need to capture some videos for archiving.
Appreciate any tips. Thanks in advance.
joanne
