  2. it depents on quality ....
if you want to backup (from original DVD) or from the web (Divx,SVCD,etc.)
if it is original dvd so use dvd2one for faster results (main movie only!)
than with authoring software like DVD-Lab you can make a nice menu to the finale DVD.
for "web" movies you need to encode it to mpeg2 format and than just author like above...

  3. You will need to lower the bit rate. Read some of the guides about converting dvd's to svcd vcd etc and lower the bitrate.
    If it's wet, drink it

This guide was just posted on this site:

    http://www.dvdshrink.info/re-author-advanced.php

It shows you how to use DVD Shrink to re-author multiple titles. This guided shows how to split up the same title but, the concept is the same. Just use different titles instead of the same one.

  5. Thanks for posting this link, FT Shark.

I made a new guide for DVD Shrink v3.0 beta, which is the only version you can make compilations with:
    http://www.dvdshrink.info/re-author-v3beta5.php

And here is the rough but more in-depth guide I had previously made:
    http://www.dvdshrink.info/re-author-v3beta5-advanced.php

    I hope they help.

  7. No wizzy, once you have dragged the title from the 2nd DVD, you would simply have to use "Open Files" or "Open Disk" (if you have enough drives, as you must not remove discs you've already re-authored), again in the first window (or open a new one if you want) and keep dragging and dropping titles to the same "New DVD" pane.

When using "Open Files" just make sure you ripped all the files (not just movie-only as DVD Decryper does by default; guide here: http://www.dvdshrink.info/dvd-decrypter.php), and that you select "VIDEO_TS.IFO".
