    when trying to convert open range the program freezes. what is the problem and how can I fix it? I have read about using vdub,but it days it can not support mpeg2 files. any help would be great.

    Are you trying to convert a dvd to a svcd or what? Be specific. Try using dvd2svcd. Look for this program on the tools section.

    Is this the movie, Open Range, that you are trying to convert? Or some technical term/process used during conversion?
