  1. Hey guys,
I just recently bought a TV@nywhere, and I'm having some problems with it, and hoping someone here might know what I can do. The tv@nywhere card is all set up, in the computer, and I recently bought a coaxial cable, and hooked that up to the cable source down the basement, and it is now in the back of my tv tuner. But here's where I'm having the problems, I can't seem to get to see the video to show/watch. I've tried many things, and confused on what to do next. The coaxial cable is pluged into the cable connector on the back. I am using InterVideo MSIPVS to try and watch the video, and also have PowerVCR II. So if anyone has any questions/comments on how I can actually get this up and running and see the picture, please reply!

  5. Allright.. I got some help from some people in a chat room, and got it working

    One more question though

Is it just me or is the video quality on coaxial cable's suck? Whats a more direct way of connecting your tv/cable to your tv tuner for the best quality?

  8. I was looking into it and decided to switch the two boxes (we have two 'switches', one that connects to cable for all the tvs, and one that connects to the antenna (regular tv)).

It was on the cable switch before, so i moved that over and put that on the antenna box, and tried it up on my computer, and the quality was flawless, didnt notice any quality loss at all (compared to the big screen tv/all the other tvs).

So my question is, why is the cable switch so much difference? Why am i losing so much quality when i switch to that?

Im thinking about buying an S-Video cable for this, unless I can figure out how to get the quality back on the cable, because as of right now for the cable.. its almost unbearable for recording purposes.
