  1. I tried backing up the Bonus Disc with DVD Fab and DVDXCOPY and, as I had predicted, the result is failure.

These programs expect the DVD to contain a large "main movie" but all it contains are a dozen small movie clips. It copies the largest small movie into the Disc One output, and tries to cram everything else into Disc Two output. The result is that Disc 2 output folder has >4.34 GB.

Any other way to backup the BONUS DISC into two DVD-R including full menus?

One option would be DVD Shrink and just convert some movie clips into still pictures.

I would much rather have the "Please Insert Disc 2" change graphic screen associated with DVD Fab and DVDXCOPY.

use dvdshrink or dvd2one for the bonus DVD, i used dvdshrink....
for the main movie (DVD1) never ever use dvdshrink or anyother shrinking programs!!
LOTR_TT the movie quality is so perfect that you need to re-encode it !
i am right now re-encode it with CCE 5Pass for maximum quality to fit on 1 dvd-r...7hr so far...
if you want speed over quality use dvd2one or dvdshrink
    for quality use CCE....
