  1. i am using dvd x copy xpress and the last couple of dvds i have made are not working on any of my dvd players oritron sony and ps2. They have all worked before the question i am asking is has anyone had the same problem and if so how do you erase what is already on a dvdrw to start over??

    your dvd burning software should allow you to erase your DVD-RW. If not then get dvdinfo (it's in the tools section), it will allow you to erase the DVD-RW.
    Got my retirement plans all set. Looks like I only have to work another 5 years after I die........

  3. These aren't the DataWrite 2 X Green/Black disks are they ?

    If so, they are rubbish. I and many others have had problems reusing them after the first burn. If you still have the receipt, send them back and get a refund.

  4. Nero will do it automatically for you. Programs like ulead dvd movie factory, tmpgenc dvd author etc... have a button to press to erase the dvd.

  7. After having failed to erase a stubborn DVD-RW with a 250-lb strontium magnet, I think maybe I'll give DVDInfo a try...

    Couldn't hurt!
