    hey all, i just got back into the hobby, and went to encode an AVI to MPEG using TMPGEnc, but about 4% into the encoding, an error window pops up but all it says in the titlebar is ERROR and in the message portion of the window it says "-1959938322 859045888" and my only option to click is "OK" after i click 'ok,' the encoding will continue for a second or two, then the exact same error with identical digits. i'm very confused and for now i'm going to try another AVI file to see if it is just the file, but any input from the veterans here?? thanks a ton for your time.

    Reinstall TMPGEnc. I'm guessing your running old version with bugs.

    thanks! all better! for those who may be experiencing the same problem, use a newer version of TMPGEnc. seemed to work for me.

    how do you reinstall tmpg? if i delete it and get a newer or different one.. it seems the same.. nd my tmpg still doesn't work.. it always say it's not responding
