    when I try to run SVCDTODVDMPG I get a window popup saying that its checking for updates.... fine so far... give it access past my firewall and it downloads the updates... sounds great so far... window closes to reopen program ... auto update starts again... ditto and ditto ad infinitum ...

    and I only upgraded to get the multi menus...

    any help/ideas would be good ..... but I gotta add if anyone says upgrade in the next week I'll swing for them

    1. try deleting your update-cache folder b4 running. It may well to a u*date initially but shouldn't again.

    2. failling that. run this registry update http://www.svcd2dvdmpg.com/SVCD2DVDMPG/update.reg Then run the app. It may well to a u*date initially but shouldn't again.
