I’m having problems in getting my new Pioneer DVR-106 to work with ReadNow Max; neither Source nor Destination drive are recognized. Using InstantCopy it recognizes only as Source drive but not as Destination!). But the drive works fine with DVDXCOPY 1.2.2, made a movie backup with it smoothly. What give!? Is anyone running into the same situation?

I also have a Ricoh drive DVD+R in the same machine and both Source by InstantCopy. I was able to make a PS2 backup using InstantCopy without any problems using the Ricoh drive.

Please advice & Thanxs to all in advance!

Did you purchase a retail copy of Record Now Max or did your copy come with another drive. Copies of Record Now Max that ship with optical drives will usually only work with that drive and not recognize another manufactuers unit. But if you do have a retail store bought version then your problem lies elsewhere. My record now max stopped working after I installed IC7 last year. This resulted in a reformat and not installing IC7 again.

I think you need to download the latest PX Engine update to make RecordNow Max recognize the DVR-106D drive:

This is how this program updates the device list.
