no fast forwarding after created dvd folders

I have a VCD movie on 2 cd's and want to create it onto a DVD. So I ran through the program and everything worked fine. When I played it in my standalone (and computer) when I try to fastforward it just shuts off. This is the second movie it happened to. Although some work fine??? Any suggestions??

What version of svcd2dvd did you use? I never had the problem but i'll try it again with the new version..

Could you fast forward the vcds?

it happens a lot on vcds, but not on svcd's, also depends on your player,some cope some don't. My latest player plays them all and picture searches ok too, but on those converted from vcd, the timer doesn't function, it remains on 00.00

it sounds to my your player can't play vcd on dvd. But what you can try is let svcd2dvd make your .m2v & .mp2 and import those in to tmpgenc author or dvd-lab and see what you player does then with vcd on dvd.
