  1. if you look at the top ones, there pretty fast, then when you look at mine on the bottom, its all choppy...

    any programs to make avatars like these ? i have jasc animation shop and i tried to, heres what i got..



    notice mine is all slow... is there any other, better, programs to make these animations on ? i have full videos and i want to cut little scenes out...and make them .gifs...any help is appreciated..

    Just guessing since I don't use these much, but I'd say YOU HAVE TOO MANY FRAMES!

    Geese look at the quality of yours vs the few frames loop of the others. You can't put 10,000 frames in an anim loop and expect it to repeat in 2 seconds. Yours is 5 or 10 times the frames and filesize of what it should be. Use maybe every 10th frame and it'll probably be fine.

    mine range about from 85-100 frames..

  4. Total or per second? Remeber film is shot at 24fps and TV is broadcast at 30fps.

    Adobe Image Ready (a subset of Photoshop) can make animated gifs, and will allow you to set the time delay between frames.

    I have mine set to .03 seconds between 2 frames (I had 4, which looked smoother, but I couldn't get it down small enough [6k] to use as an avatar).

    because thats where im getting the videos from, im just cutting out the the frames i want..

    this one is around 19 frams i think



    thats one i made with animation shop, using 1 frame every 10...i dont like how its not too smooth ..its around 100 kb

    don't think so, but you can open avi files in Virtualdub and save them as image sequences, then open them in Image Ready and import the frames you want into the animation.
