No no! The Kiss is the only one that is certified by the makers of DIVX. Ya know www.divx.com. I just checked out the Liteon that my friend bought. Sorry folks. It does not compare to the Kiss at all. The Liteon's remote is a joke. When I saw it and used it, I laughed my ass off.
Even with the new Firmware upgrade, my divx3 files play like shit. Very jumpy. My Kiss plays the divx3, 4, 5, WMA, and Ogg files like a charm with fast forward at 2x, 4x, 8x, 16x, 32x, and 48x!!!
Now that I have seen both units face to face, I fully understand why the Kiss is $299.00 and the Liteon $140.00.
Buy what you like or what you can afford. I'm sticking with the Kiss. Oh, plus the Kiss has internet Radio W/Lan for high speed internet. The on screen menues on the kiss are way better too. It's like the difference between a Porche and a Geo Metro. :P -
Hello everybody!
Can you tell me about all these players - which of them supports external subtitles. I'm sure that LiteOn LVD-2001 doesn't.
