  1. I'm trying to put an amuteur movie i have made on to dvd. We want a number of audio tracks (i.e. main + commentary) and so we are using maestro.

I thought that the files i have would be compatible. They were created using premiere 6.5's Export Timeline - Adobe MPEG Encoder, with the settings set to output as dvd file.

the files are not compatible, so i need to convert them to the file type that maestro supports. What software is there to do this? I tried using Cucusoft Video Converter but the image jutters. What other programmes might i try?

  2. If you've exported them to mpeg2 from adobe premiere. Then the chances are the audio and video have been encoded as one. Maestro will not allow mpg files to be imported in this state. You must split the mpg into audio and video using a demultiplexer; found in such software as TMPGenc. This will create two files one with the ext. Movie.m2v (video)and one with movie.mp2(audio).If this doesn't solve it; then the chances are you've breached the allowed resolution or bitrate, for a dvd.
