  3. You must have chosen a very high bitrate for encoding, that's why.
To fit 80 min of video on a single 700MB CD-R, choose 1150kbps as encoding bitrate (standard bitrate VCD).

I JUST WENT back to look at tmpgen screen..i dont see where to reduce bitrate..when i opened the file to begin encoding it had this printed on bottom as to size
    MPEG-1 512x288 25fps CBR 1150kbps, Layer-2 48000Hz 192kbps

ps..oh i just saw where to reduce size but it was as you see already 1150
could i have reduced anything else?

  6. It sounds like the audio is the problem:
    1.In TMPGEnc load video
    2.Export WAV using TMPGEnc>File>Output to file>WAV
2.import divx and WAV and encode

  7. I had a question i was wondering if you can help. I did a movie file which was 3 cd's long and i managed to put it on 2 discs. now i need to put a 84 min movie on 1 disc (which shouldn't be too hard) but i can't fit it. It reads 829 mbs on disc it shows 729 mbs. But for some i can't seem to make it fit on 1 disc. Nero is saying it's too big for my medium. Please help me. My bitrate setting is at 900 and the audio is 229. I've even lowered the bitrate to 800 but i get the same size.
