OK.. maybe an authoring question... but it seems to be audio related; so I'll start here. I just picked up an Apex AD-5131 dvd player... specifically, because it will play VOB's burnt on a CD [mini-dvd]. Anyway, my cDVD's compiled from DVD-source [ac3 original audio] play just fine... problem is, the VOB's that have mp2 audio made from my capture files, don't play sound on the Apex. OK, so I transcoded the mp2 audio to ac3 stereo... new ac3 soundtrack plays fine alone... but when compiled [DVDMaestro] with the m2v video... the result VOB plays at 'fast-forward' about 20x speed..!! [obviously no sound] I selected "ignore ac3 imbedded timecode" in Maestro... no luck. Anybody steer me in the right direction, here..??
