  1. I just got my Pioneer 106 burner and the first disc, a Platinum DVD+R 2.4 speed worked just fine, and I used CloneDVD.

So, I got really happy and burned another one, using same software, and same brand of discs. Writing went fine and I got a "DVD created" message. However the disc won't play and doesn't even get recognized by the computer!! I've produced three coasters now and every time CloneDVD tells me that the process went through fine!?!?!?

What the hell is wrong here?

I have not used CloneDVD, so feel freee to view what I say say with askance. First, go to DVD+RWs until you solve this issue. And see if you have a simulate burn option on your program as well.
