Actually it is! There a driver called AMAPI that is used by certain programs that incorporate "BURNING" functions. As long as it is activated, it is running in the background. This problem seems to be taking place with NERO 6. If you are using an erlier version of NERO then I really don;t know what is wrong. The problem is I forgot how to disable that damn driver. Maybe someone can tell yoou how it is done. The easiest way is to do as I have and go back to NERO 5*** Latest Version was 5.5.10.50 I believe.

So do you see Imapi running ?
Programs which use this that you would not think are music players such as real one or musicmatch. Close these down and then try.
or
Before you load nero load up task manager and check under processes see if you can see imapi running and if so end it and then start nero. This should sort your problems out. -
