I have had many TV Tuners.
Hauppauge WinTV
Matrox Marvel G400-TV
ATI TV Wonder
ASUS TV (Tuner and FM)
My favorite software has been the ATI TV Wonder.
PRO:
Does not hog memory
Compact (does not hog desktop space)
Linked with Gemstar Program Guide
Cons:
Uses Overlay (not dual monitor friendly)
Likes to Reboot my computer
the ASUS TV Tuner comes with PowerVCR, which I dislike. It is a memory hog and takes up twice as much desktop space as it should. I only want to see the TV part with a thin border.
I just used the ATI TV software instead.
Now that ASUS TV FM has new drivers, the ATI TV software will not work.
I am in search of a new TV Tuner Software. The ATI TV software likes to reboot my computer which is unacceptable, most likely because it was not designed for using with my ASUS TV FM.
If you use a TV Tuner software with the following features, please reply or email me:
* Uses little memory (not bogged down with a million features
* Uses little space, just the TV and a thin border
* Is linked with some sort of TV Guide software (that is channel # customizable)
and I would prefer that it does not use overlay.

I'm using Snap Stream 3.2 on my dedicated PVR box now. Has a lot more features than you would get using ATI's software, even though I do find it useful on my systems that have ATI AIW cards.
