DVDr to DVDr - Having major problems - why wont they copy?!

I have made a few dvds by using vcdgear to to make the .dat files from vcds into mpegs then putting them in ulead movie factory to make a dvd.

Im having major problems though copying the resulting dvdr.

I have put them into dvd decryptor to read to my hard drive but they keep erroring after about 30 retries at reading a file.

I have tried to drag the video and audio files to my hard drive but i keep getting the message Cannot copy vts 01 1data error cyclic redundancy.

I have run out of ideas of how to reproduce these dvds and no longer have the project info within ulead so will have to start over again.

looks like you got some bad media

looks like you got bad media ...... try cleaning the dvdr and reducing the read speed of you dvd-rom it might just do the trick
