  4. i tried at first with dvd video but nero didn't find the file, so i burnt it as data.

i used tmpgenc to encoded it from vcd to dvd and made a 4 gb file from 800mb.

  8. Before Nero can burn your video to DVD it must first be authored. You will have an empty AUDIO_TS folder and a VIDEO_TS folder which will have files called ifo, bup, vob, etc. It will be these files that Nero recognizes when you try to burn to a DVD. When you use Nero you will drag the audio and video folders to the workspace in Nero to burn to disc.

  10. Your link doesnt work but it sounds like you have used tmpgenc to encode a movie to dvd spec. You now need to use authoring software to turn the file you produced into the dvd folders containing the vobs etc recognisable by burning programs.

  11. The TMPG encoder will not author the mpg file for you. You need a specific program which is designed for that. There are many to choose from such as Ulead DVD Movie Factory, Sonic MyDVD, DVDLab, etc.

  13. I use Ulead DVD Movie Factory v.1 and DVD Lab. Both are excellent. There are guides on the left in the "how to author" section. Good Luck.
