Pinnacle Instant Copy 8 has made 2 coasters?

I decided to give PIC8 a try. Sometime before the processing is done it does some DVD writing I guess because I had to abort both attempts after 5-6 hours but before the final writing stage I thought but both times the DVD had been written to and was no good anymore. Well it's back to dvd2one and dvdshrink and dvdclone for me. I was wondering if the PIC8 had some kind of trojan built in since I have never seen writing occur before the analysis is complete. Very wierd.

If you don't want IC 8 to burn directly to disk during encoding enable "write to harddisk first" under the burning options

Direct burning is a new feature ( to save time I guess)

I am an owner (paid for it) and happy user of IC7. Where can I get IC8 that you are trying out. Sounds interesting but is not on Pinnaclesys site. ........... harrymj3

I don't think its been released to the general public yet, only announced

obviously beta testers have a copy and apparently some resellers have copies

there are other people who have 'copies' aswell of course

if you ain't a betatester or reseller then I guess you will have to wait until the upgrade is made available

I would watch the German Pinnacle news page as it seems to get all the info/releases first
