    Im not so new i don't know what a cd-r is, but my dvd player says it supports DVD/MP3/CD-R, what is it 'talking' about?

    Also i was wondering if anybody knows anything about the 'Nimax DVD-750' (which is what i have). I've looked but cannot find any sites on the internet about the product. Thanks!

    Wow.

    Um, a CD-R is a recordable CD, created in a computer using a CD burner. This means your DVD player can play back Audio CD's on these burned discs, and possibly VCD CD-r's as well.

    Did you check the dvd player listing on the left for your player?
