Sony's support page says to disable DMA on the IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers on the Advanced Setting Tab, but I don't have an adv tab, so sony's support says in that case to remove the Via 4 in 1 driver and then follow steps to disable DMA, but I don't see a 4 in 1 driver either.
