Hey,
If i want to smooth and sharpen my avi (huffy) capture with virtual dub... what are the best settings to use for the smoother and sharpness filters?
Is it all trial and error?
i know if i use too much smoothing the video will look like a comic.
Is there any good documentation on this?
TIA

It is trial and error
If your source video is reasonably clean
Sharpen -16 setting (max is 64) generally works well
Smoothing- check the noise prefilter box- u can use even the max setting without noticeable loss of detail-I prefer max 10
