Ok, let's see if I can get THIS problem solved. My new "LG" DVD +/- burner has been working GREAT with burning stuff, but specifically with Nero 6, there seems to be one compatibility issue. Before I begin with this explanation, let me say that my burner works with every other burning software that I use, but I guess I'm being spoiled about solving this problem with Nero, because Nero is supposedly the "best" burning software out there. Also, I'm thinking that after someone reads this, they may be able to tell me what I can do to remedy the problem.
When I burn regular cd's, or SVCD's with Nero on my burner, it works with no problems, but when I try to burn a DVD with it, Nero doesn't want to recognize the disc. It keeps saying that I don't have a valid disc type installed. When I try to do the burn, I use a Memorex DVD+RW disc. Like I said before, when I use other burning programs, my burner burns on that disc with NO problems, but Nero won't do it. I've tried burnining, using all the various methods, like ISO, UDF/ISO, DVD-ROM, and DVD Video. I had all the settings correctly set on each burning setting. Nothing works. Is there ANY way that I can get Nero to burn DVD's with this particular burner, or am I stuck with using other burning engines to burn my DVD's? Any help would be appreciated.
