  1. I downloaded a divx mpg file from the net and when i put to vcd to watch on the tv the picture is half on the screen ...how do i make it full screen?help please,....

  2. are you saying it has black borders on the top and bottom. If that is the case you will need to change the resolution using a tool like TMPGENC. Depending on the divx file, you may not like the result (blocky, etc.).

    If you want to do a quick test with what you have already burned, click the zoom button until it fills the screen and that will give you an idea of how it will look if you change the resolution setting.

    A number of DIVX files are encoding with odd resolutions and black bars to lower the final file size (black bars dont take up too much space).

  3. No, its half size up the screen .... I dont really know how to make it full screen . give me directions

  4. What is the soure files resolution? Standard for vcd is 352x240. If your file res. is something out-of-place like 450x290 then it will look ok on your tv screen.

    open the source file in gspot. post the info. also post what you used to convert to file to mpeg1 and what settings you used. then we should be able to give you the help you need.
