Hi,
Just recently I have noticed the inclusion of audio filter graphs in virtual dub in order to manipulate audio.
The problem is that the footage I have captured only has audio on the right hand audio channel the left has static. I wish to discard the left hand channel and split the right hand channel to make a false stereo or mono audio track.
I have tried various filter combinations in virtual dub but all seem to lead to a virtual dub lockup and crash.
Does anyone have any clues where I might be going wrong?
Thanks

You could do this in GoldWave, SoundForge or some other sound editor if you extract the audio track in virtualdub first (Save WAV).

Doubleclick on the filterlist in the following order
input-stereosplit-discard-output
Will remove one of the audio channels and give you a mono output
input-stereosplit-output-discard
will give you the other channel as a mono output.
Hope this helps.
