I just got one today and I must say so far I am impressed. Nice DVD player. So far it is playing even DVD-R and DVD-RW's that my Sharp DV-740 will not play (funny thing is they look exactly alike on the outside!!!). But the SVA also features Dolby Digital output (with its own built in decoder!) and Progressive scan. I have over 400+ burned DVDs and it was a pain when certain brands were more finicky on the Sharp. But this seems nice, and has a nice MP3 display also. I would recommend this player.
