I bought a 25 pack of those at Future Shop and had to bring them back.
I have a NEC 1300a firmware 1.05. When I tried to burn them they only showed up as 2x but even so I had an error msg saying it could not write to the media. Tried at least 5 discs with 3 or 4 different write sotware. They seemed like they tried to write but then the software came back with the msg after a couple of minutes. Fortunately, none of the discs were damaged. I had bought a 25 pack 2x Pine brand -R a week earlier at Future Shop and they work fine with my burner.
