  1. I recently downloaded a movie off the internet but when i went to play it the video and audio are not in sync. My computer is fast enough to play them as this is the first one out of hundreds that has screwed up. What is causing this? and how do i fix it if possible. I suspect it might be a bad encoding job, is there a way to fix this?

  2. Try encoding it at 29.97 fps and then play the encoded file back.
    That has fixed my sync problems before
    see, if the audio is ahead of the video, you ned more frames for the video to keep up with the audio.

    Now if the video is ahead of the audio(rare), then you decrease the fps to encode at to 23.967 or 20.
    29.97 should fix it though
