  1. i use tmpgenc to encode a movie, adding the subtitle file with it but when i preview the encoded clip, the subtitle did not appear..i followed the guide here n use the ffshow config n vobsub n set the direct show priority highest under the tmpgenc environment settings but the problem is still there. Another problem is that my subtitle file is in chinese format n when i watching the movie along with the subtitle, it seems that the win media player cannot play the chinese subtitle correct..it juz shows weird letterings, not chinese..Anyone can solve these problems?

    Try using the subtitler filter in Virtual Dub mod and frameserving to TMPGEnc.
