I am capturing video from vhs to mpeg and want to extract the audio to clean up some tape hiss. What program will let me extract and save the audio to a .wav so I can clean it up with something like Cooledit? I use WinDVR to capture and it will not let me capture in AVI. Virtualdub will not let me extract the audio from an MPEG. What should I do? I really don't want to convert the MPEG to an AVI. Are there any programs that will save the audio from an MPEG file?
