  1. Hi everybody,

I know, to somebody my question could sound stupid and it could have already thousands of correct answers, but if anybody knows the correct answer, please give me a reply.

I am trying to extract only certain chapters from a dvd. I am trying to make a compilation of musical videos from different dvds. I used dvd decrypter, but I am not sure that I have done the right thing. I always end up with video, but not audio.

Could anybody, PLEASE , give me detailed instructions and software to be used?!?

I thank in avdance every answer I will get for this post!!!!

Not sure what's wrong with the audio...but I'll give it a shot. First use dvd decrypter or smartripper to extract the vob's from the dvd. Then in DVD2AVI, use the vob the music video is on to get the .d2v and wav file. Next, go to tmpgenc and select the vcd or dvd format and click next. Now select your d2v file for the video source and your wav file for the audio source and click next. On the next screen, click source range and find the video...the part you want to encode. Then click ok and next. Now name your file and its destination and if you have more video you want to encode, click on batch instead of encoding immediately. After you have all your files, simply use nero or something else you have to burn it on a vcd/dvd(whatever you prefer). If there is an easier way, I dont know it. Good luck.

  4. DVD Shrink will let you select the chapters and even edit the start and end points right from the DVD or the ripped files.
