  1. When i burn a SVCD it stutters when i play it back on my dvd player. i think that its the video bitrate a regular SVCD is 1500-2500 kbit/s , but the video that i have is 2530 kb so is this why my svcd is not playing right???

    Did you rip from a DVD? What program(s) did you use. I have made SVCD in the 2530 range with no problems. Although the bitrate is suppose to be 120 below the max to avoid errors. I used DVD2SVCD and never ran into a problem. Plus it works fast and simple. And use for best results and no annoying banner on the screen.

  3. The bitrate for SVCD should be 2530 kb/s. Check if your DVD-player supports SVCD format (many players do not) and you burned a compliant SVCD.

    Many SVCD supporting players doesn't support max allowed bit rates. Try lowering to somewhere round 2000 kbps A+V

  5. My dvd player is Philips DVD Q35 and it does suppot svcd. i burned a svcd like last week n it worked fine.. but right now im trying to burn another one and it wont work i also try to burn it at 2x still wont work it keeps on stuttering it play thru out the hole movie.
