  1. Hi fellas. I used SVCD2DVD 1.5 to author a dvd and then burned two svcd dvdrip movies with nero. I played the movie in my Panasonic A120 DVD player and the first movie has problems with the video output. The video is choppy and not the same as it is with cyberlink powerdvd on the computer. The second SVCD movie is fine though. The audio on both movies is also fine, just the video problem is a nuisance as it has happened twice now. Does anyone have any suggestions on how i can make the video appear just as it does on the computer or without problems? Maybe the fps on the two films is different, but I'm not sure. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks

  2. It might help if you can give some information about the mpgs. width, height, fps etc.

  3. The width, height and fps of the svcd that gives me video problems is

    480x576, 25 fps, [4:3] PAL, 1644 kbps

The svcd that works fine is 29.97 fps...and when i load up the mpeg file into tmpgenc dvd author, i get an error saying 'The video framerate 29.97fps cannot be used with the resolution 480x480.'

So...seems like I have problems playing any svcd that is 25 fps, because now that i've looked at the width and height...i've noticed that the 3 movies which have given me video problems are all 480x576 and 25 fps....Is there anyway I can convert these svcds to 29.97fps so that they'll work?

  4. I don't think tmpgenc author likes that you put NTSC and PAL on 1 disc..

Just stick with one or the other on one disc
